Not Washing Face
We're probably all guilty of skipping a day or two when it comes to washing our faces. Hey, it happens to the best of us! But not to fret, not all routines have to be long. A quick scrub and rinse is sometimes all you need. Just remind yourself to take a minute and wash your face on the daily. A day forgotten is a day too late when it comes to pour build up.

Not Wearing Sunscreen
Sunscreen can be just the same as missing a day when it comes to washing the face. Something that may even deem unworthy of your time and money. Behold! I inform you to think again! Sunscreen can protect your skin from ageing and scorching rays that lead to none other than cancer. It isn't something to take lightly as it does more than intended of. For clean, acne and wrinkle free skin, go ahead, apply sunscreen! You can thank me later.

Using Hot Water
You heard it here, folks! Using hot water can actually damage your skin. What? Yes, it's true. Washing and rinsing your face in hot water can dry your skin up. However, it can do quite the opposite depending on skin type. Hot water is also prone to aiding in open pours and porous build up. Whichever skin type you have, remember to wash and rinse in cold water. Take this with you as you wash your face and even shower as it can be very effective.

Touching Your Face
You can never go wrong with touching soft, smooth skin, right? Think again! Hands are the breeding center for bacteria and can transfer bacteria to other clean parts of your body. Avoid touching cleanly washed skin as much as possible. You can prevent acne from appearing and other blemishes from popping up.

Not Washing Garments
You can take a shower and wash your face every single day but wonder why acne is still on the verge. Like washing your clothing regularly, so should you take care of washing garments that touch your face, too. Think of hats and scarves for example. They're accessories, yes, but need a wipe down every once and while to keep you looking fresh! This goes for more than wardrobe attire, though. Places where you lay your head such as pillowcases and bedding. These should be cleaned on a regular basis to stave off any breakouts on the face and body, just as much.
