Things You Don't Need to Apologize For

Things You Don't Need to Apologize For
Nobody is perfect, we all make mistakes, learn from the past, and move toward a brighter future. If we continue to be ourselves, there's nothing to be sorry for. Sometimes however, we're thrown back into a wave of resentment where we feel inadequate with our choices. You don't always have feel burdened from things that have happened, however. Instead, try to grow from the things that keep you from moving forward. Use what makes you feel vulnerable to become stronger, not stricken or constantly upset.

Guarding Your Boundaries
What's yours belongs to you and only you, and that's okay! If you feel you're unable to stake your claim on your belongings, break through with confidence and speak up for yourself.

Standing Up for Yourself
You have every right to voice your opinion. Don't be shy when expressing yourself every minute of your life. If you don't like something, then that's that. If you love something and your friend doesn't then no worries, remember nobody is created alike. We are all unique individuals that bring our own 'spice' to the table.

Taking Breaks It's okay to take breaks as often as you need. Sometimes the right journey is overcoming the many tedious trials and tribulations when you take time for yourself. You don't need to be sorry for going at it slow or reading into things before taking action. Go at your own pace and all will unravel with ease!

Taking Time for Yourself Why try to fit in when being yourself is even better? Give yourself ample time in your day to day basis to be yourself! There's literally no reason to stress out about anything when you've got control. And for a fact, nobody can change you and what you believe, it's all up to you!

Availability If you're not up to hanging out with a friend, for example, there's no need to make up an excuse. Tell the truth in the moment of how you feel. Lying can bring you down when talking openly with others about what's happening. Opt for truth on whether or not you wish to be disturbed.

Emotions If something makes you happy then by all means, indulge in happiness! Perhaps you're upset and the urge to cry is making it hard to continue with a task. Don't hold back your emotions. Let everything out, whether it be in public or in the privacy of your dwelling space. Don't bottle yourself up, rather, express what you've been delt with. Don't be shy to talk with someone you trust if need be.

Saying No A very significant part in life is saying yes or no, meaning you have a choice regardless of any situation. If you can't tolerate something then by all means, go for it - say no! As stated above on Standing Up for Yourself, you have the right to your own opinion. Nobody should have to feel forced or constricted due to other people's opinions and or choices.

Asking a Question You may be in class and need help on an assignment. There's no reason you can't ask a question to resolve the problem at hand. Be brave and ask for help. If you need to, ask over and over again if something still doesn't make sense. There's nothing wrong with furthering your inquiry to find the result you're looking for, even if it takes a while.

Not Knowing an Answer We've all been there before; we don't know the answer to a problem. This scenario has checked out time and again in different settings of our lives. Don't feel embarrassed, we're learning new things each and every day! It's better to be honest about not knowing the result so you can further your knowledge about it in the future.

Prioritizing Your Health People constantly like to judge and nitpick on people for how they look. If you feel okay with your body, then there's no need to change for anyone, look a certain way, or feel worthless. Go on and be yourself! Another thing to mention is putting yourself and your health first. It's okay to be keen on your health. Take care of yourself and do what you think is best for your body!

Limitations Everyone sets limitations for themselves, even if we aren't fully aware of it. Guard yourself with what you're comfortable with. It's okay to take risks but only as you see fit. Don't force yourself as it can lead to stress or even trauma.

Cutting Toxic People Off There will always be someone in life that will stunt your growth. It may or may not be on purpose. Of course, if you feel pressure because of what they say, how they react, with body language in general, even the vibes seem a tad off, go with your gut and cut them out of your life. It's best to lose the part that only clutches on for the using and taking. Do yourself a favor by ridding of any hinderance.

Other People's Mistakes or Poor Choices You and only you are the sole author of your life journey! People will come and go no doubt, but you remain the one to write the chapters. Don't be tasked with feeling guilty about other people's decisions. The only choices, feelings, and emotions that matter are the ones of yourself!

Making Better Decisions

Making Better Decisions
Making decisions can be easy at times but can also be quite difficult. Here's a tip about making better choices that can keep you on track for living a worry free life.
_________________________________________________________

Don't Overthink Most every major decision is weighed by pros and cons, but overthinking can keep you from making a conclusive choice. Don't spend much time on thinking everything over because it can cause undue stress, but don't be stingy on your thoughts either. Listen to your gut instinct.

Remove Yourself If you aren't in the mood for making choices, remove yourself from the situation. Become an observer rather than be at the forefront. This will allow for a clearer vision coming from a different perspective.

Mistakes Learn from yourself. Making mistakes can impact future decisions and bring confidence knowing you've improved upon experiences you've had and have yet to come.

Feedback Asking for feedback is a great tactic when tackling better decision making. It's good to hear other opinions and reach another perspective before cutting to the final product.

Take Care If you want to make good decisions, it's good to have a healthy body and clear head when going into things. Take care of yourself often. Sleeping well, drinking more water, and treating yourself to what makes you happy, are a few ways to keep a clear conscious.

Emotions Did you know that your mood affects the choices you make? Too many negative emotions can block your train of thought, as much as positive emotions can. Make sure to keep an empty but open mind when picking your next move.

Research If all else doesn't bring answers, there's always reading up on what to do next. Go to the library or browse online. Perhaps the only true way to recover any information is to stick to your values. Do what you know is best in your heart because the best research is done when you've already got a keen sense of mind.

The Art of Being Thankful

The Art of Being Thankful

When it comes down to it, we often forget about the little things that make our lives just a tad bit easier. This tip is simply about remembering to cherish the details because they make up the whole picture!
_________________________________________________________

Affirmations Make it a daily habit to say (aloud) a few great things that happened, whether it be by yourself or with someone. Sharing your efforts can feel relieving and positive affirmations can make a person feel accomplished.

Thank Yourself Don't stress about what other people have succeeded by. Give yourself a pat on the back for the habits you've cultivated in your life. You have so much to thank yourself for when you peel back the curtains.

Silver Linings Check yourself for silver linings. Drag some good out of the hard times you fall on. This means taking a moment from the heat of stress and surveying the situation. Think about how each and every situation teaches a moment to continue moving forward in life.

Onward and Out Being empathetic more often can lead to feeling gratitude. People that admire those around them instead of putting a fence up for their own narratives can see the difference it makes. So onward and out, look around for those that you notice the strength in everyday because you are sure to catch some of those benefits even for yourself!

Perspective Put yourself in someone else's shoes if you haven't come up with anything to be thankful for. Those that experience much greater difficulties in their lives will only help you see the things you might have missed and otherwise taken for granted.

Removing Negativity From Your Life

Removing Negativity From Your Life

Cancelling bad vibes isn't always easy, in fact, it's usually a process. The list below is some of the easier ways to get rid of negativity, however. So please remember whether easy or not, we must use patience and persevere to accomplish things as such. Things will get better in due time!
_________________________________________________________

Self Control It's definitely not an easy thing to remove from our daily routines because most of the time we don't realize we're in control of ourselves or rather, other people. Starting with this, if we learn to look beyond what we expect of ourselves, others, and everything around us, we will start to see clarity. Barriers can be removed without any hinderance if we take in stride to how our emotions affect the atmosphere around us.

Perfection Perfection can alter the entire mood of our bodies. It can seep into our minds and destroy positive thoughts or outcomes. We need to be aware of our behavior and resist the tendencies our minds have blinded us to. Simply remove the shades from your eyes and notice how blessed you are despite not having everything quite in an orderly fashion.

Praise It's okay to falter upon negativity once and a while; it's because we need to recognize that out of the negative and positive, there is growth. Accomplishing things is a great feeling to all, however, always needing to feel good about completing a task is the least bit helpful. If you are stressing out about getting a good score on something, having trouble focusing, or even worried about cramming something into your schedule last minute, chances are it wont accomplish much at all, if not, very little. Take a deep breath and step back a moment. Praise for all your efforts wont be recognized if there is nagging in the back of your brain telling you otherwise. Go at things slowly and admire yourself for doing just the little bit you have done so far. Small steps will take you many more miles than if you're running because by then, you wont have a chance to notice the scenery and the details of how plans are formed.

Self Destruction There's so much to be said about keeping to yourself. Is it right? Is it wrong? Answers may vary. When it comes to keeping content though, it's not always the best idea. If negative thoughts are spewing inside it's a good thing to let them out. If talking to someone is out of the question, write it out on paper or use any art form to express your inner dialogue. Perhaps you have good ideas inside that are making you giddy! Write those down or find a way to share them so you're freeing the body of any harm. Self destruction comes when we hide away thoughts and feelings (good and bad) so it's only a good option to let them out and not be pressed about them ever again.

Resting There should be no guilt when it comes to removing entities from our systems. Rest on the fact that we human beings need to grow and shape ourselves appropriately for the future. It's like creating a promise to ourselves for the common good. Take more steps forward than backward. Don't look back because you will only miss on what's ahead. And resting, that is a soundly thing to do, as long as we don't remain stagnant.

Connectivity Helping others and looking out for their best interest is fine and dandy. When it becomes certain we are only on the lookout for their benefit, it's no longer theirs but yours. Connectivity is a thing most humans cannot live without; we long for human contact with others. Be sure to keep yourself in tact before leaning on somebody and or reaching out to them. If you aren't fully engaged in yourself and your purpose to help others, and know of their needs and purpose too, then the connection will lose itself. Self awareness and tolerance go both ways for both parties. Choose to be respectful and set boundaries that don't go over the line, but rather, share each other. Self control is an aspect in connectivity and being mindful is a good way to begin looking out for one another.
