The Art of Being Thankful
When it comes down to it, we often forget about the little things that make our lives just a tad bit easier. This tip is simply about remembering to cherish the details because they make up the whole picture!

Affirmations
Make it a daily habit to say (aloud) a few great things that happened, whether it be by yourself or with someone. Sharing your efforts can feel relieving and positive affirmations can make a person feel accomplished.
Thank Yourself
Don't stress about what other people have succeeded by. Give yourself a pat on the back for the habits you've cultivated in your life. You have so much to thank yourself for when you peel back the curtains.
Silver Linings
Check yourself for silver linings. Drag some good out of the hard times you fall on. This means taking a moment from the heat of stress and surveying the situation. Think about how each and every situation teaches a moment to continue moving forward in life.
Onward and Out
Being empathetic more often can lead to feeling gratitude. People that admire those around them instead of putting a fence up for their own narratives can see the difference it makes. So onward and out, look around for those that you notice the strength in everyday because you are sure to catch some of those benefits even for yourself!
Perspective
Put yourself in someone else's shoes if you haven't come up with anything to be thankful for. Those that experience much greater difficulties in their lives will only help you see the things you might have missed and otherwise taken for granted.
